Mythic Kingdom puppy is for loving families who want only the very best.
We are passionate about our dogs and to breed for what we feel is our ideal interpretation of our breeds. We have loved Cresteds since 1997 and have seen many fine Cresteds. Our first Crested who made a lasting impression on us was a little Crested girl in a magazine. Her owner wrote of her beauty, inside and out, and how she was poisoned. It was such a touching and sad sorry as it was clear how much the little girl was loved and missed. She was pink with slate spots all over with all white furnishings. She was small, feminine and sweet. Tim and I knew we both found a type we wanted to produce. She was just outstanding. The other Crested who made a powerful impression on us was an amazing AKC Champion who took best of breed several years in a row at the Westminster Dog Shows in NYC. We saw him at dog shows prior to him being an outstanding champion and we knew he was a winner. He walked in like a champion, with power, drive and confidence. It was so obvious he was far superior to the other Cresteds being shown. He glided in, jaws dropped, he won and then he left to wait for the group and best of breed judging. It was also amazing since he was smaller than all the other Cresteds being shown. He was a small dynamo package of power and grace. Since then, we have not met another Crested who had that kind of conformation and charisma.
Out of these two ideal Cresteds, we strive to breed our ideal of beauty and balance. We have listened to breeders, spoken to pet owners, attended dog shows and read everything we could on the breed to learn as much as we can.We selectively breed to have our Cresteds smaller than what is available to families. Do to the smaller size, we tend to have fewer puppies in each litter, having on the average 1-3 puppies. We never have 5, 6 or even 9 Crested puppies as some breeders do. With exceptional pedigree, fewer puppies and high demand, our puppies are not cheap. Families who get a puppy from us want the very best, not the cheapest puppy. They care about the socialization and the amazing love and care we put into each of our puppies.
Mythic Kingdom puppy comes from exceptional pedigree. One might almost say a "Royal" pedigree. With numerous AKC Champions in their lines, Mythic Puppies are the epitome of health and soundness with stunning personalities. Our puppies are also socialized from birth to have the best of manners and understanding of social etiquette.
When selecting a quality puppy, a substantial pedigree from a responsible breeder is a good indication of quality. The majority of high level breeders carefully select breeding dogs based on conformation, soundness and personality. Without a minimum of all three traits, a responsible breeder would not consider breeding the dog. Breeding a show quality puppy is truly rare. The slightest "fault" in aesthetic attributes, known as conformation, and the dog is not considered for breeding. This takes nothing away from soundness or personality but how many super models are there? When there are multiple generations of careful breeding with only the best added, even the pet puppy is of exceptional quality.
There are many breeders of Chinese Cresteds and Mi-Kis but it is important to keep in mind that your puppy is a part of your family and will be for his/her entire life. You want a healthy, happy and well socialized puppy with a strong history of exceptional pedigree. We take our time to help place the right Mythic puppy with you. Each little Prince or Princess is raised as if they will live at Mythic Kingdom forever. Each little Royal is treated with the same care and love as we provide for our Kings and Queens until they are placed in your loving arms. We invest tremendous amount of time and money on our Moms, Dads and puppies. We spend our free time caring for our Moms, Dads and puppies. But it is worth every minute we spend!!! Dogs are living beings looking to us for their care and love. They need our love as puppies and as adults. Always consider if you are ready for a puppy before bringing one home. Ask the breeder lots of questions and only deal with a breeder who will ask you lots of questions. Remember, a good breeder will want to get to know you to make sure their puppy and you are a good fit. The more they know you, the better they can place a puppy that is right for you. They will know the puppies personality and will know what type of home is best for him or her. Let's all do our part to not have a dog go to an animal shelter or be euthanized needlessly.
